THE BAND

The High Hopes Band is considered one of New England's premiere reggae bands.  High Hopes prides itself on continuing the tradition of roots/orthodox style reggae (classic 70's period) with an updated feel for today.

Jahsun has backed Fanton Mojah & Yami Bolo  as well as opened for Midnite, Luciano, & Morgan Heritage.  O Jinga, our true veteran, played with Israel Vibration for several years.  Jules is the only female reggae bass player known in the greater Northeast states that plays wicked roots reggae. She's well schooled in the rockers tradition. Holding down the keys is Paddy McDonnell. Paddy's an old soul and you can feel that in his performance. Our newest addition is Orlando Velazaquez.
